At a Business meeting I realized the person I met with is on AFF!

This just happened very very recently. I had a meeting with a new , prior our meeting we spoke on the phone before we met in person.

When we met, I noticed she was quite attractive but regardless, I maintained my focus on our business but something about her was slightly familiar. Certain features about her face seemed familiar but I couldnt put my finger on it right away. She was quite personable, we chatted about non business related topics (all rated G). I would say out of 90 minutes of time together 20 to 30 minutes was about business and the rest was just banter, talking and laughter.

But I digress...  We parted ways, I got into my car and after I was about 2 or 3 miles into my drive it me!! I know why she is familiar me!!!

I have seen her on HERE! On AdultFriendFinder!!!!

Here is the issue! I cant say anything to her because this is supposed be a business arrangement. Not only would saying something about AdultFriendFinder likely embarrass her but it would most certainly ruin any business opportunities!!

Has this ever happened you??
Yes! But I never said anything about spotting their profile on AFF.
Yes I mentioned seeing their profile on AFF and it was a disaster
Yes I said something to the them and it worked out amazingly well
No I never said anything about seeing their profile on AFF
Not yet, but sit tight. I'll get back to you!

IT's happened both sides for me. The first time was a work situation and was about 16 years ago the first time I was on this site. I did not have any pictures posted for that reason. I was a manager in a mostly male industry, all I needed was for one of my coworkers to see me on here. So, one of the men that worked for me sent me an email. With a picture of him on a piece of equipment at work, and was .....ahem.......exposing himself. He was also married although his profile did not reflect that. I never mentioned it, to him or anyone else we worked with.

Second time was a few months ago, This time around on here, I figured I had nothing to hide , am retired, single, no reason to be discrete, so my face picture was my main profile picture. I was at a grocery store and a youngun, well he was in his late 20s I'd say ,followed me to my car and engaged in conversation with me. Nothing threatening or anything, he just mentioned he had seen me on the site. I just chalked it up to youth. And learned a lesson, dont put your face picture out there unless you're willing to be recognized by people you might not be able to recognize yourself. It could have been much worse.........

Honestly, if I didn't have other more explicit photos on here, I'd have no problem with my face picture being visible on my profile. After all, it's on other "dating" sites, heehee.

The woman I "saw" works in a local coffee shop. I've watched her on cam a few times, chatted with her on there and through IM. I think it's unwise to bring up something personal like what happens on this site to someone in the "real" world.

I mentioned it in an IM a few days later, and she laughed and said she'd wondered the same thing, was that was me in her coffee shop. She's yet to agree to meet for a drink so I'm not pushing anything.

I have boundaries between personal and professional. Strict boundaries...for me its not wise to have them cross~~

If i saw someone here that i knew, it would stay in that boundary box in my head ....

I'm with you. I would not cross that line. Granted things happen as business relationships evolve into friendships and so on but until there is that explicit trust built over a long long period of time, I would never say anything.

That could cause a lot of repercussions... Especially where I do not know her well at all, she could always deny it, delete her profile and then claim sexual harassment years later.

Wow...semi nude pics of himself taken at work??
What was the coworkers reaction to this when he shared this employees profile with you?

Fingers crossed that she will come around and meet up with you at some point.

Only once about ten years ago. I saw a woman in a restaurant that I was at, and I recognized her as someone from here. She was with someone, so I said nothing.

In the future even if that happens again, I will keep it to myself, because chances are I have messaged them in the far past and for whatever reason got no further than a message.

No doubt it would be a catastrophe. IF and only if we evolve into friends in a non professional way I might bring it up.
Regardless, there is no way I am mentioning it any time soon.

Probably a good decision on your part, exsquid...

I have seen close friends on here who have confided in me about problems in the marriages and I still have not said anything about seeing their profiles.

Two stories...I was contacted by a man who, when I looked at his pictures, turned out to be someone I knew from my bike club. He’s quite a bit older than I and I was kind of grossed out by the situation and didn’t reply. I hope he didn’t realize who *I* was. I don’t have a face picture on my profile so hopefully not.

Another time , I was having a first meet with a guy and for some reason he looked very familiar. After some discussion we realized we both worked for the same organization. We were in different departments and our office building had at least a thousand employees, but I must have seen him in the elevator from time to time. It’s 15 yeats later and we’re still friends.

Your first story reminds me of an experience a friend of mine had on AM several years ago. Like you, her pic was from the neck down so no one could identify her. That was a smart decision on her part because she was contacted by one of her neighbors! She didn't respond to him but the creeper kept emailing her over and over in spite of her non response!
It's amazing the secret lives the people around us lead.

Your second story had such a great outcome! The two of you must have had such a good laugh when you two realized why you seemed familiar to each other.
